**A day in the life of a Manufacturing Excellence Execu**ti**ve...**
- As the guardian and advocate of the continuous improvement (CI) activities, coordinates and drives factory initiatives to develop, implement and maintain sustainable performance (Asset Intensity) improvements, cost reduction and competitiveness whilst maintaining Nestle Quality Standards.
- As the custodian for the Manufacturing Standards in the factory, ensures that the Manufacturing Standards are accurate and reflecting the optimal way of running, and are being followed by the production team, and that the proper housekeeping of the standards is being done.
- Serves as a centre of expertise for dissemination, coaching and implementation of focused improvement (FI) methodologies, such as GSTD, DMAIC and SMED. This includes conducting on his/her own focused improvement projects, or coordinate and lead multi-functional teams to improve. Training, coaching and assessment for the factory and the Local Leadership Team.
- Drives the implementation of the TPM methodology at the factory, e.g. AM and PM pillar tools, to make the way of working safer, more efficient and effective.
- Spearhead digitalisation and automation efforts in the factory, e.g. implementation of DMO, Power Apps and Power BI, to reduce manual menial tasks, and eliminate non-value added work.
- Motivate & empower people through positive attitude and stimulate change in traditional mind set.
- Hold paramount and adhere to all Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) practices in the workplace
- Understands and follows all food safety and quality practices and standards (FSSC22000, HACCP, lines of defence, etc.) in the workplace.

- Demonstrated capability to work with various stakeholders.
- Intermediate knowledge of TPM or similar continuous improvement methodology
- Good understanding of the business needs
- Exposure to implementing continuous improvement and employee involvement techniques. Implementation experience of TPM.
- Proficient with using various problem-solving tools.
- Good understanding in change management.
- Good influencing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Capable of project management, to formulate a plan and execute on time in full.
- Exposure to SHE and food safety practices in a food & beverage manufacturing industry.
