**Your day-to-day at FI**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Japanese speaking Engineer to join our team in Singapore. As an R&D Incentives Consultant, you will be responsible for advising clients in both **Japan and Singapore **on R&D and innovation public funding.

You will work closely with our international department and report to the Country Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

- Advising clients on how to improve the performance of their R&D funding strategy and Innovation management.
- Conducting technical audits on client projects to assess their eligibility for R&D incentives support.
- Preparing technical reports to substantiate R&D incentive claims.
- Identifying potential qualifying R&D expenditure and extracting relevant costs.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in consulting, R&D department, or related fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Knowledge of R&D funding programs and regulations in Japan and Singapore is a plus but is not mandatory as training will be provided during onboarding.
- Proactive and autonomous mindset, with the ability to learn quickly and take on new challenges.
