Generator Service Engineer or Specialist in Generator Systems

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Run load bank tests on diesel, natural gas generators
- Annual servicing of different type of make and model engines
- Diagnose and repair any issues found during initial testing
- Resolve electrical and mechanical engine problems.
- Replacing electrical and mechanical components.
- Perform voltage and frequency changes on generators based on customer requirements
- Experience ECM settings changes
- Experience service or replace Cylinder heads, injectors etc..
- Re-wire, adjust and install control panels and voltage regulators
- Adjust speed controls and various settings
- Change filters and perform standard service on units
- Work closely with the Manager on project progress, estimates, etc.
- In-depth understanding of diesel engine and/or generator technology
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues on diesel, natural gas gensets
- Exceptional communication skills to work with team and customers directly on occasion
- Proficient with estimating time required to complete tasks
- Experience working with large industrial power generation equipment
- Ideally strong knowledge of diesel generators
- Other various Training certifications are a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $2,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month
