Alcott Global is partnering with a leading FMCG company to search for a **Managing Director** to lead the business across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). This leadership role offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in FMCG, retail, or e-commerce to drive significant growth through strategic market development, brand building, and building a high-performing team. The role is based in The Netherlands or France.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce growth strategy for the EMEA region, aligned with the overall company vision.
- Lead market research and analysis to identify new customer segments, opportunities, and emerging trends in the EMEA e-commerce landscape.
- Oversee all aspects of digital marketing and advertising for the EMEA region, ensuring effective customer acquisition, brand awareness, and conversion strategies.
- Manage and optimize online marketplaces and platforms, negotiating favorable terms, maximizing product visibility, and driving sales through these channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including logistics providers, payment gateways, and customer service providers.
- Lead and manage a high-performing team across diverse geographies, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Develop and implement strategies for efficient logistics and fulfillment across the EMEA region, ensuring timely and cost-effective product delivery.
- Set ambitious growth targets and KPIs for the EMEA region, and meticulously track progress towards achieving those goals.
- Analyze market research, customer data, and sales performance to inform strategic decision-making and optimize e-commerce operations.
- Stay abreast of the latest e-commerce trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, building brand awareness and forging strategic partnerships.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within FMCG, retail, or e-commerce.
- Proven track record of driving growth and profitability in your respective field.
- Strong understanding of the EMEA market, with a focus on cultural nuances, consumer behavior, and regulatory environments (experience living or working in the region is a plus).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Experience building and managing high-performing teams.
- Passion for the FMCG industry and a willingness to learn from complementary sectors like retail and e-commerce.
