The Assistant Vice President Strategy role is to support the Head of Group Strategic Planning on all ongoing assignments relating to strategy projects, technology & product strategy & road-mapping, corporate planning cycle and stakeholder engagement.

A key member of the Strategic Planning - GSSO Team, the Assistant Vice President Strategic will work closely with teams within Group Strategy & Sustainability Office (M&A, Sustainability & ST Engineering Ventures) to develop, frame and support execution of business strategies and deep dives at both business and/or group level for sustainable success.

**Responsibilities**
- Execute on Strategy Projects - Deliver on strategy projects or assigned workstreams and bringing strategic points of views and insights for strategy discussions/ brainstorming sessions with the businesses and Group Strategic Planning team
- Drive Group Strategy Cycle including 5-year strategy plans and 1-year budget cycles working very closely with Group Finance. This would include developing the PCEO Guidance Letter, strategic framing and supporting the respective businesses to develop and sharpen their strategies. This will also include aligning and integrating presentations from respective businesses into a coherent storyline for the Strategy & Finance Committee & EXCO
- Coordinate, consolidate and integrate the different sources of primary and secondary information for internal & external stakeholder communication (e.g. Investor Day, Presentations by PCEO, key announcements and key meetings with external stakeholders e.g. Temasek, EDB etc.)
- At times, facilitate, coordinate and front the group-level strategic partnerships with other global peers that will help create new capabilities for global businesses.
- Support and drive cadence of Head of Department, Group Senior Business Council & EXCO meetings
- Coordinate internal department and strategic community events to share best practices, further thought leadership and upskill overall strategic capabilities of the group

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-paced environment and working in an ambiguous environment, bringing a structured approach

**Knowledge & Experience**
- Proven track record in driving and delivering strategy projects with ~7 years’ experience in a strategy consulting, corporate strategy roles with some business development experience.
- Experience in technology/ deep tech would be a plus
- Exceptional analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder management; works well across all teams within ST Engineering Group such as sales, product, technology, finance, etc.
- Strong influencer; track record of influencing decisions and opinions of others especially senior stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication including C-suite presentation skills. Ability to articulate concepts and complex ideas in clear and impactful manner
- Passionate about driving change. Having a curious mind to challenge status quo and provide innovative solutions and different perspectives
- Possess high integrity and ethics, positive work attitude, versatile, hands-on and with good attention to details.
- Intelligent self-starter with resilience and resourcefulness

**Qualifications**

Bachelor’s or Master degree in Finance/Accounting/Business or related discipline
