**Green Is The New Black** is a dynamic lifestyle media and events platform dedicated to making sustainable choices mainstream and inspiring positive action. We are seeking a dynamic **Business Development Manager** passionate about sustainability, PR, and the events industry to drive new business, forge strategic partnerships, and contribute to Green Is The New Black's growth and the long-term success of our mission.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **BD/Sponsorship Acquisition**:

- Develop and execute strategies to secure high-value event sponsorships and partnerships specifically for Green Is The New Black initiatives and The Conscious Festival.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing sponsors, understanding their sustainability goals and aligning them with our offerings.
- Negotiate mutually beneficial sponsorship agreements to maximize revenue.
- **Client Relationship Management**:

- Serve as the primary contact for sponsors, providing exceptional service throughout the event lifecycle.
- Develop customized sponsorship packages that meet the needs of clients and enhance their brand visibility within the conscious consumer space.
- Ensure timely and effective communication regarding event details and deliverables.
- **Market Research & Analysis**:

- Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the sustainable lifestyle, events, and sponsorship industry.
- Analyze competitor activities and sponsorship models to refine our approach.
- Prepare reports and forecasts on sponsorship performance.
- **Collaboration & Coordination**:

- Develop and execute strategic business development plans and proposals for Green Is The New Black.
- Work closely with our events and marketing teams to ensure high-quality execution of sponsorship deliverables.
- Contribute to event planning with insights for sponsorship integration, particularly for The Conscious Festival.
- **Revenue Growth & Strategy**:

- Drive revenue growth by expanding our sponsorship base and deepening relationships with existing sponsors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic alliances aligned with Green Is The New Black's mission.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 5 years in business development, sales, or sponsorship management, preferably within the events, media, or sustainability sectors. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth.
- **Skills**:

- Strong negotiation, sales, and relationship-building abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategic plans.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- **Personal Attributes**:

- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Genuine passion for sustainability, conscious living, events, and driving business growth.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sustainability, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
