The Regional Distribution Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the regional distribution roadmap within the respective Area. She/he coordinates all distribution topics across the respective markets and manages the integration of distribution content into regional sales programs & products. She/he ensures both internal and external communication of distribution topics. She/he orchestrate the community of Local Distribution Multipliers and co-leads the APAC Digital Booster project.
- Develop and implement the regional distribution roadmap in his/her region in close cooperation with Channel Partners, Partner Development & Steering, Partner Application Management and Offer Placement
- Develop and drive the defined joint distribution targets and KPIs within his/her region together with the multipliers
- Set-up and orchestrate the network of Distribution Multipliers in all markets across the area, ensuring regular exchange and providing guidance and support on all distribution related questions. Plan and conduct sales camps and promote distribution learning. Identify and address regional training need.
- Drive the integration of distribution-related content into regional programs and contracts, such as technological requirements (e.g. shopping) or joint commercial initiatives (e.g. content/offer differentiation, differentiated incentives by distribution solution or model)
- Drive regional market research by gathering Know-how about the technology landscape, market places and digital trends within the Area.
- Lead and support the regional workforces to roll out digital air retailing test cases and projects (APAC Digital Booster project)
- Act as the communication and information hub for all distribution topics between the global, regional and local sales teams by bundling distribution information
- Ensure quality of display (e.g. pricing, ancillary services, branded fares) in any distribution channel and purchase point (e.g. GDS, OBE, OTA) in the markets in close corporation with Offer Placement.
- Act as a driver and bundle information and know-how in relation to global responsibilities held by respective Area Management (e.g. JVs, BDU, B2B Servicing)
