**The Role**:
You will play a defining role in our growing UX/UI team, which deals with large-scale sitebuilds in the banking, gaming and hospitality industries, for both established MNCs and fast-rising startups. At this pivotal moment in our growth, we are looking for a UX/UI writer who can fully immerse into the discovery, analysis, design and iteration parts of the process, while helping to better define how a UX writer can add more value to the team.

As our Lead UX Writer, your day-to-day tasks may include leading the team in content design, working with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver the best possible user experience, as well as planning, creating and governing content for the products you are working on. You will also be expected to mentor and guide our current team of UX writers, helping them to develop the skills necessary for productive collaboration and advance in their careers.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the UX Lead in managing the UX/UI team which include delegating/assigning tasks to the right writers, managing writer resources, as well as playing an active role in new hires
- Manage and improve the writing process for our UX/UI team, actively seeking opportunities to try out new and better ways of working
- Lead writing reviews and check-ins, guiding writers in their journey of growth and collaborating with researchers to improve on the work
- Write effective and quality copy for websites or apps, and where necessary, help to define the tone of voice for the brand or product
- Work as part of a team to create meaningful digital experiences throughout the project stages from discovery to design to delivery
- Raise content quality by asking questions, giving feedback, and suggesting improvements, and establish best practices for the working team where necessary
- Supporting a UX researcher in unpacking consumer insights, iterating on content in a data-driven process
- Working alongside UI designers to ensure content, layout and design come together seamlessly

**Job Requirements**
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in either UX or copywriting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Experience in agile processes and collaborating with different roles such as designers, researchers and developer
- Able to explain and defend content decisions with strong reasons
- Expert command of the English language with excellent writing skills
- Proactive in driving self-learning and skills improvement for yourself and the team
- Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for details
- Ability to work and behave professionally in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills
- An innate curiosity and desire to make an impact on the world
