**About the Department**:
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team of IT professionals who are responsible for executing the disaster recovery plan in the event of a disruptive event. This may include assigning roles and responsibilities, providing training and development, and monitoring team performance.
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure that disaster recovery plans are aligned with overall business objectives and regulatory requirements across the geographies that we operate in,
- Co-ordinate with the business and technical teams to plan and conduct disaster recovery exercises to test and validate disaster recovery plans and procedures to improve the overall effectiveness of the recovery plan
- Oversee the media management team supporting backup media and restoration processes
- Pursue streamlining and automation opportunities to enhance the overall efficiency and service delivery quality of the team
- Keep abreast with industry trends and best practices related to IT disaster recovery and incorporates these into the organization's disaster recovery plans and procedures

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree holder with minimum 10-12 years’ experience managing Data Center Operations in the financial services industry.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of DR and business resumption processes
- Good understanding of various backup and recovery strategies within the Data Centre environment
- Conversant with Technology Risk Management Guidelines for Singapore and other geographies
- Strong leadership and analytical skills. Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
- Excellent communication skills and the able to interact with people at all levels
- ITIL and other Business continuity certifications will be an added advantage
