Assistant Vice President, Database Admin

Singapore IOT SPECIALIST RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. Full time

We are partnering a leading financial institution and they are expanding their team with an **Assistant Vice President for Database Administration **.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage database environment including Oracle, SQL Server.
- Able to perform Start-of-Day checks on daily basis and fix the issues in accordance to SOPs
- Stakeholder liaison with IT PMs
- Elevate Database (security, reliability, availability, and scalability) and procedures

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- At least 10' years of experience of system/database development
- Handled 11.x/12.x/19.x Oracle versions and managed activities including DB Upgrades and Patching
- Experience in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Oracle Restart on Windows, Oracle Enterprise Management and Service Now
- Experience in scripting, query tuning, optimization and solve complex problems
- Prior experience in a leadership position
- Extensive knowledge of creation of banking operation procedure and MongoDB will be an added advantage
