**Description**:
As a Commercial Consultant II, you will enable Aftermarket Parts Sales Profitable Growth for Managed & Global Accounts by executing and setting the Pricing & Sales Variance strategy for key global customers in the Asis Pacific region. This position will directly support the managed accounts aftermarket teams within the Resource Industries, Construction Industries as well as Energy and Transportation industries by providing commercial and pricing analysis, tools, and recommendations on agreement negotiation and executing strategic projects.

**Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:

- Primary global pricing and sales variance consultant for Managed Accounts teams within Resource Industries and Construction Industries to drive consistent parts commercial strategy and ensure company goals are met
- Single point of contact in APD responsible for influencing the vision and deployment of pricing strategy within Caterpillar’s largest customer agreements.
- Prepare and execute price plan communications for Strategic Accounts.
- Plan, analyze, execute, control, and communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for key strategic projects within the Managed Accounts Parts Pricing team
- Perform ad hoc analysis to support commercial decisions
- Coach dealers and internal business partners on parts pricing and merchandising concepts and processes

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience concentrated in business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting, marketing, or related fields
- 6 or more years of professional level experience in pricing, accounting, finance/treasury, marketing, or related field
- Knowledge of Caterpillar products, merchandising programs and/or relevant business systems
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and/or experience navigating complex negotiations
- Experience working with global commercial and/or sales teams and/or dealer personnel
- Knowledge of Caterpillar parts pricing and Sales Variance processes
- Strong analytical ability, SQL and advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated initiative and results oriented
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven sense of urgency to complete tasks on time to meet goals or deadlines
- Demonstrated focus on quality and customer needs
- Strong interpersonal skills to work through sensitive business problems and change management
- Experience with Power BI or other data analytics and visualization tools
