Occupational Therapist

We are looking for Occupational Therapists to be a part of our dynamic trans-disciplinary team of Allied Health Professionals which comprises Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Physiotherapist, and (Associate)/Psychologist. The team provides a range of rehabilitative and intervention programs to support our client's ability to participate in the home and community.

The AWWA Home consists of 2 services for adults with disabilities. They are Day Activity Centre and Adult Disability Home. Client groups include physical disability and multiple disabilities such as intellectual disability, cerebral palsy etc. In AWWA Home, the focus of the home emphasize on empowering the clients to actively participate in Activities of Daily Living and Community Living Skills. OTs play a big part in exploring roles and routines of these clients in the community, and implementing interventions and programs together with the multi-disciplinary team to promote independent living and community integration as the clients transit into adulthood.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assess and identify the individual needs of clients and formulate, develop and implement appropriate individualized/ group therapy programmes
- Be part of the transdisciplinary team of therapist, social workers and psychologist in the programme
- May be required to conduct workshops and training for both internal and external stakeholders

**Job Requirements**:

- Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council in Singapore as full/conditional registrant
