Munich Re LH2 Regional Structured Solutions team, part of Munich Re the world's largest reinsurer, is looking for an enthusiastic professional who is interested in technical Actuarial work and enjoys the challenge of working in multiple markets and being part of a diverse team.
Reporting to the Head of Structured Solutions, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa and based in Singapore you will focus on non-traditional reinsurance solutions (financial reinsurance) across the Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa regions.
Your job
- You will be in charge / support the quarterly and annual Structured Solutions reporting process (i.e. Solvency II Reporting, local Statutory Reporting, Monitoring), constantly looking for improvements.
- Liaise with valuation teams, accounting teams and Structured Solutions local teams for ongoing reporting needs, and streamlining of reporting requirements.
- Build, maintain and enhance the reporting infrastructure; driving automation.
- Perform regular experience monitoring and performance analysis of LH2 Structured Solution transactions.
- Ensure that the guidelines, standards, templates and frameworks for the regional and local Structured Solutions teams are updated, and with appropriate documentation.
- Support deal structuring, pricing, risk analysis, submission for approval and execution.
- Support other regular reporting or ad-hoc projects and tasks.
**Profile**:
- Bachelor's degree (or above) in actuarial science, statistics or finance with 1 or more years' working experience
- Excellent technical and analytical skills, logical and concise in approach and able to demonstrate attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated and able to work within a team environment, outcome focused
- Experience in Power BI languages, MS excel (can perform complex functions) VBA, SQL
- Experience in data processing, database structuring and modelling is key
- Experience in reinsurance and/or Structured Solutions is an advantage but not essential
