**Job Description**:
Everest Reinsurance Company, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd. is looking for an Actuarial Analyst to join our Singapore.

In this role you will perform pricing analysis for the broad spectrum of P&C and Specialty reinsurance, primarily the Casualty, Motor, Credit and Marine lines of business. In addition, you are involved in the development and pricing of innovative risk transfer solutions together with clients and brokers in Asia Pacific. You will work with underwriters to analyze the profitability of our portfolio and to grow our book in the Asia Pacific region. You will work closely with the actuarial function in home office and the other branch offices on the development of pricing tools to enhance our pricing excellence.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Price reinsurance treaties and liaise with underwriting in support of our Singapore branch office, with potential support for other International EvRe offices (e.g., United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Brazil, Asia Pacific)
- Collaborate closely with Underwriters on technical assessments and exposure analysis
- Performing transactional actuarial pricing analyses, conducting lines of business studies, profitability reviews, portfolio management, and ad-hoc modeling work
- Working closely with the Solutions team to develop and test new models related to reinsurance pricing, as well as improve existing models
- Work with other actuaries across the International branches to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

- Actuarial, Math or Science related degree with excellent computer/data manipulation skills
- 5-7 years of P&C actuarial pricing experience; reinsurance a plus
- Significant progress towards an actuarial designation by a recognized body
- Experience in project work and tool development
- Knowledge of IFRS, Solvency II and capital management is an advantage

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

- Experience with Python, and/or R, SQL, programming skills is a plus
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Keen to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, good team player
- A business-oriented focus (motivated, self-directed, organized, and analytical)
