**Duties**:
**Digital Identity Guidance, Advice, and Consultation**
- Represents Login.gov on matters concerning digital identity, technology policies, and directives, to establish, develop, maintain, and cultivate effective strategic and working relationships with key mission partners operating in the digital identity space.
- Advises and assists Login.gov partners on digital identity risk assessment, selection of appropriate identity assurance levels, fraud risks, and collaborative processes.
- Develops, briefs, and communicates digital identity policies to Login.gov management
**Digital Identity Compliance Verification and Validation**
- Provides leadership on, coordinates, is accountable for, and maintains the program office NIST SP 800-63 Digital Identity Guidelines compliance program.
- Manages third party audit relationships and trustmark responsibilities.
**Committee and Management Representation**
- Serves as an authority on private sector and federal government governance approaches, models, and business frameworks encompassing digital identity, equity, and transparent processes and activities.
**IT Program Policy Development and Analysis**
- Develops and publishes technical policies to support the Login.gov program, including but not limited to digital identity, artificial intelligence, data retention, equity, and user privacy.
- Provides expert legislative review of draft interpretation of Public Laws, regulations, congressional testimony, NIST special publications, OMB policies, Dept. of Homeland Security Binding Operational Directives, United States Code and the Code of Federal Regulations, Comptroller General and GAO audit decisions, and other legal precedents.

- Meet all eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date.

The GS-15salary range starts at $143,736 per year.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or higher in the Federal service.
