You will join the Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) department as part of the COO Data & Analytics CoE team supporting Retail Operations Analytics. Here, you’ll turn your passion into reality. You will be part of an experienced team of analytics professionals and work with a diverse range of modern technologies to address business challenges and improve efficiency. You will use your expertise in Data Analytics background to enable improving the operations functions and in turn driving good experience for our Customers.

Delivering actionable analytical insights will contribute to the optimisation of our customers’ experience and enable business leaders to make data-driven decisions. You will be able to tell a story with data and be able to communicate findings back to a range of stakeholders for decision making.

**_On a day-to-day basis, you will: _**
- Work with stakeholders to Identifies and defines opportunities or problems and develops hypotheses within business context.
- Determine end to end analytics solutions select the most appropriate analytic frameworks, tools and data (qualitative and quantitative) meet the requirements.
- Develop self-service dashboards that support discovery and benefit sizing, including identification of data/system improvement opportunities.
- Source, explore, transform and analyse data to understand the trends, correlations, patterns, outliers.
- Determine the opportunities and actions required to improve business performance, reduce costs, enhance customer experiences and better manage risks.
- Present insights to key stakeholders in a clear and concise way to support data driven decision making.
- Produce high quality insights and performance reporting on a variety of business needs including operations, product, customer, risk and finance.
- Support wide range of internal and potentially external stakeholders with timely and accurate data and insights.
- Mentor other Analysts in the team and actively participate in knowledge sharing to implement best practice analytical techniques.
- Embrace a continuous improvement mindset, and seek to find ways to standardise, simplify and automate business processes.
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer experience and help to optimise this experience wherever possible.

**_Tech skills _**

We use a board range of analytical tools; we don’t expect you to know them all but having significant experience and exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team.
- Analytical scripting languages such as SQL, Python and R
- Database environments such as Teradata, Snowflake, Spark
- Data visualisation tools such as Tableau, PowerBI
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
