**Project Management Officer**
The Project Management Officer (PMO) for this role is an individual who ensures the right environment and accessibility of resources for the projects they handle. The PMO will oversee the business projects assigned and ensure that they are completed within the timeline and budget set. This individual will also oversee change management and workflow quality.
The role is with a global company dealing with utilities, trading and commodities. The PMO will be working on a full time basis in the Singapore office located centrally with a focus on IT projects including developing and maintaining software.
- **Roles & Responsibilities**_
- Reporting to the IT management of the Singapore office for activities in the APAC region
- Liaise with management and business analyst to understand project direction, requirements/needs, timeline and budget
- Liaise with various stakeholders including the project team, project managers both in Singapore and in headquarter location for planning and execution
- Establish project governance framework to maintain a structured approach to project management, assisting to pilot the project
- Process input from all parties and prepare plans for execution
- Manage project progress and timeline
- Organise meetings with internal/external stakeholders, obtain updates and follow up
- Facilitate team collaboration and communication
- Resource planning and management (budget, capacity, people, etc.)
- Identify potential risks and delays, raising alerts and handling prevention plans
- Ensure projects are following business objectives and direction
- Streamline and automate processes and workflow
- Gather up-to-date and accurate information about projects and team
- Provide regular overview reports and milestone status updates to team and management
- Oversee projects to completion

Functional/Technical
- 4 to 5 years of project management experience in IT related projects
- Degree in IT/Computing/IT Business System or equivalent, other disciplines will be considered with relevant working experience
- Background in banking and finance/venture capital industry
- Knowledge in financial processes a plus
