
Assistant Project Manager

1. Assist the Project Head (HOD) in the coordination, supervision, and monitoring of progress for on-going projects.
2. Ensure project quality of highest standards by meeting client's expectations while satisfying relevant authority and regulatory compliances.
3. Plan and manage all details of projects from inception to completion.
4. Manage and supervise the project budget for all assigned projects; Monitor and control project’s costs by taking proactive measures to prevent costs overruns.
5. Ensure projects comply with safety policies, rules, and regulations.
6. Identify potential construction-related issues or contractual disputes and implement appropriate solutions.
7. Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors.
8. Plan, forecast and track sub-contractors work progress, provide weekly schedules, and conduct daily coordination meeting to ensure project timelines are met by sub-contractors.
9. Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentations.
10. Ad-hoc tasks assigned by Project Head (HOD).
**Requirements**:
- Preferably Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience and knowledge in steelwork, metalwork fabrication and erection will be an advantage
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of working experience in the related field
- Reports to the senior management
- Lead a team of engineers and supervisors in planning and execution of day to day operations
- Responsible for overall implementation and completion of projects within scheduled cost, time and quality
- Liaising with main contractor, consultants, relevant authorities and sub-contractors to ensure smooth completion of the projects
- Work with internal relevant department to prepare, review and submit all detailed programmers, schedule, method statement, technical proposal, risk assessment plans
- Conduct regular internal and subcontractor meeting
**JOB REQUIREMENT**
- At least 5 years’ experience and experience in Steelwork will be an advantage
- Possess analytical mindset, independent, self-starter, positive working attitude, takes ownership and a highly responsible individual
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Able to work in fast paced environment
- Must able to lead the project team
**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month
