Our Supply Chain team within Materials and Purchasing drives the development, implementation and management of supply chain operations and suppliers in the delivery of strategic programs. It’s all about managing supplier relationships and ensuring the availability of parts and services in the supply chain, while maintaining inventory at acceptable levels. We focus our resources on the continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes and establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning and forecasting.

**What you’ll achieve**
Manages strategic and operational commodity teams for Dell Services. Develops supplier strategy, long-range plans, global supply chain optimization, and builds supplier relationships for several commodity areas or spend categories, in partnership with business partners. Responsible for setting and achieving performance goals/metrics to improve total delivered/lifecycle value in regards to commodity cost, quality, technology and/or services. Responsible for implementing procurement initiatives and process improvements, and for getting feedback from regions on the success of Dell’s global procurement programs. Responsible for leading and developing your team. This role reports into the Vice President of Services Procurement. Executive level presentation skills, communication, and professionalism are

**You will**:

- Work cross functionally across Dell services to partner on strategic activities and customer driven requests. Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group.
- Drives cross-functional strategic/operational commodity teams to drive Dell towards a competitive advantage in the market place in specific areas such as Time-to-Market, Availability/Capacity, Cost, Quality, Technology and Service Level.
- Drives development and implementation of tools and processes to improve management practices for commodities and/or spend categories, and shares that learning with other groups.
- Accountable for supply/demand continuity across all of the service hubs globally.

**Essential Requirements**
- Drive the Services continuity of supply / budget deliverables across the globe
- Regularly hosts operations reviews and provides direction for improvements in key commodity metrics of cost, quality, product performance, availability and/or service level
- Sets global procurement strategies and oversees implementation within the regions
- Develops, negotiates and manages large and critical vendor relationships and contracts for Dell
- Spans across the functional organization to identify next career opportunities for team members

**Desirable Requirements**
- Advanced understanding of procurement / supply chain practices
- Significant focus on business process improvement
- Must be able to speak both English and Mandarin
