**Purpose of this role**:
The role will determine the optimal manufacturing methods and processes for producing company products from start-up, building the product line, through satisfactory production. This includes analyzing engineering design documents to establish manufacturing methods and processes to manufacture a component, creating conceptual sketches and initiating the design and building of required tooling.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
Be the manufacturing primary point-of-contact for technical problems.
Develop final tests to automate (eliminate/minimize human intervention) the instrument tests within efficient cycle time duration
Ensure the test coverage meets system requirements
Continuously improve the final test process, by revising the Final test procedures to mitigate all the quality issues through update of pFMEA, implementing Poka Yoke solutions, etc.
Take corrective actions for performance problems reported by Final Test associates and internal customers.
Provides training and certification to Final Test associates.
Provide root cause analysis for installed failure instruments and any other parts that are returned from the Field to Manufacturing.
Improve the First Pass Yield in Manufacturing by performing failure analysis and providing engineering solutions to address the root causes.
Support improvement in field quality, by taking inputs from GSS and the FSE on the installation and warranty failures. Introduce corrective actions in Manufacturing to address those field issues.
Provide support to close CAPAs assigned to the team.
Work with other Engineering departments, QA, Product Development and R&D to implement corrective actions or engineering changes on existing products. Test the performance of existing products with engineering changes or upgrades to verify the performance and update test procedures if required.
Assist instrument installation in the field through site visit/remote access if required.
For NCMR disposition - perform investigation and root cause analysis for Electronics components.
ECO approval - review to ensure meets expectations.
ECO implementation - communication to the production.
Ownership to support the VS to achieve the set goals and objectives.
Drive improvement in functional test jig coverage.
Set test requirements for FRU parts.
First Article evaluation for Electrical/Electronic parts and software.
Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and SCIEX safety policies, procedures and guidelines
Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned.

**Basic Qualifications**:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Fresh graduates or 1 to 3 years of field service/manufacturing test experience with troubleshooting skills in an instrumentation company.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to read schematics and block diagrams
Able to comprehend electrical datasheet of components

**Additional Requirements**:
Hands on experience in using measuring equipment like digital multimeter, oscilloscope, function generators, etc. during his/her previous work experience.
Knowledge of chemicals will be of added advantage
Knowledge of C# but not necessary
