Ethics Intern

Responsibilities
**Team Introduction**:
High ethical standards and a culture of integrity will play a pivotal role in achieving the vision of the Ethics Office. The Ethics Office was created to guide ethical leadership and decision making; develop, educate, and raise awareness of internal policies; and lead and manage investigations. The Ethics Office is looking for an outstanding law or communications student in their final years of university or a post graduate for a three to six month internship to support the development and production of content assets for internal marketing and communications activities.
As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to work with several teams, locally as well as teams across countries. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.
The foundation is being able to understand the communication needs of our employee audience, and turn them into ideas, designs, concepts, and communication plans to support employee communications and activities to strengthen the ethical culture at ByteDance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Craft compelling and impactful content for our internal communications channels, such as our wiki pages and our internal social media channels, to support the Ethics Office messages and strategies.
- Copywriting, drafting articles or training content for internal and external purposes, with a focus on ethics and compliance related topics. Your ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner will be crucial.
- Utilize strategic planning templates to organize and present campaign information, timing and priorities, etc to ensure successful execution of campaigns/events.
- Support the team in administrative duties and event organization. Attention to details and organizational skills will be highly valuable.
- Be part of various projects, including internal campaigns and promotional videos. Your creativity and dedication will help us effectively engage our audience.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in a relevant field, such as Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Law, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to craft compelling content for diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and independently on projects.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in digital communication platforms and collaboration tools.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in managing or creating content for internal communications platforms, such as wikis, internal social media channels, or newsletters is preferred.
- Proficiency in video/visual production tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, CapCut, Canva). Experience in motion graphics or animation is a bonus.
