Product Manager, Access Control and

**Job Purpose**:
As the Product Manager for Access Control and Monitoring Solutions at Igloo, you will play a pivotal role in strategizing and developing our access control and monitoring solutions for our Smart Access Management platform. This position leverages your expertise in AI and monitoring capabilities to enhance our service offerings, aiming to realize our vision of a keyless world.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Strategic Vision and Product Roadmap**:

- Develop and articulate a clear strategic vision for access control and monitoring solutions within the Smart Access Management context.
- Maintain a product roadmap aligned with Igloo's business objectives and customer needs.
- Utilize knowledge of AI, data analytics, and monitoring technologies.

**Collaborative Development**:

- Collaborate closely with software development teams to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery.
- Manage the product backlog, write user stories, mitigate risks, and prioritize tasks to support the team.

**Market Synthesis and Alignment**:

- Translate market needs into clear product requirements, focusing on optimizing partnerships, onboarding, and end-user experiences.
- Lead workshops and cross-functional activities to explore new product opportunities and align strategies.
- Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to gather feedback and validate product ideas.

**Product Launch and Go-to-Market Strategy**:

- Lead product launches, coordinating with marketing, sales, and customer success teams for successful rollout and adoption.
- Develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales enablement materials to drive revenue growth.

**Quality Assurance and Performance Monitoring**:

- Assist with product testing and provide training to stakeholders.
- Monitor software performance and collaborate with vendors to enhance user experience and resolve technical issues.

**Scale and Predictability**:

- Introduce processes to support scalability and drive predictability in product delivery.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Partner with various functions to develop and drive product strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to support the successful launch of monitoring and access control products.

**Communication and Leadership**:

- Articulate a compelling product vision, emphasizing the value of monitoring solutions and superior end-user experiences.
- Equip customer-facing teams with product knowledge and engage with customers to provide thought leadership for further product development.

**Requirements/Qualifications**:
**Technical Skills**:

- Deep technical acumen with experience partnering with Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven success in defining, launching, and maintaining scalable products.
- Basic knowledge of software development platforms, databases, infrastructure, and Cloud environments.

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, multitask, and pay attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical skills with the confidence to present viewpoints and reason with stakeholders.

**Experience**:

- 5+ years of product management experience in Software development, IoT platforms, or related domains.
- Experience writing detailed user stories, managing product backlogs, and delivering with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in an Agile development environment and familiarity with global markets such as North America or Europe.
- Experience with access control, security, or monitoring technologies is a bonus but not required.
