The Chief Operating Officer (COO) reports to the CEO. Working in partnership with the CEO, the COO is responsible for the success of the group of businesses.
**Requirements**:
- Leading a group of functional leaders, the COO will ensure the accomplishment of the company’s mission, vision, and overall goals.
- As a key member of the company’s leadership team, the COO will take a leadership role in building, implementing, and overseeing sales & operations of the group, its systems, processes, workflows, and procedures. - Business savvy: The COO is an individual with knowledge and experience in management and administration and equipped with demonstrated know-how in integrating and coordinating diverse areas of management and governance.
- Leading change: The COO possesses the skills and implements the functions of a leader sharing the values, mission, and vision. Consistently displays integrity, models behaviour, develops people, and builds teams. This individual deals effectively with demanding situations and designs and implements interventions.
- Motivating: The COO manages continuity, change and transition. This individual knows how to influence, enable others, and addresses the impact of attitude and action on the group.
- The Chief Operating Officer provides direction to the Functional Leaders and ensures the effective deliveries of business activities for the group of businesses as summarized under “Responsibilities and duties”.
**Requirements**:
- A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in similar
- capacity/position. Must have at least 10 years’ experience within the fintech/web3 industry.
- Shrewd business sense in determining corporate strategic goals, systems, and controls.
- Meticulous with details and able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Able to lead, advice and manage the entire operations of the group.
- Experience in managing complex enterprise.
