The Chief Operating Officer (COO) reports to the CEO. Working in partnership with the CEO, the COO is responsible for the success of the group of businesses.

**Requirements**:

- Leading a group of functional leaders, the COO will ensure the accomplishment of the company’s mission, vision, and overall goals.
- As a key member of the company’s leadership team, the COO will take a leadership role in building, implementing, and overseeing sales & operations of the group, its systems, processes, workflows, and procedures. The COO will also play a critical role in helping to shape and guide the future growth and development of the organization.
- Commitment to results: The COO is a systems thinker who is customer focused and goal driven. This individual identifies relevant information and helps transform this information into individual and organizational knowledge and learning. This person is action oriented, innovative, and can translate broad goals into achievable steps. Anticipates and solves problems and takes advantage of opportunities. A self-starter and team player.
- Business savvy: The COO is an individual with knowledge and experience in management and administration and equipped with demonstrated know-how in integrating and coordinating diverse areas of management and governance.
- Leading change: The COO possesses the skills and implements the functions of a leader sharing the values, mission, and vision. Consistently displays integrity, models behaviour, develops people, and builds teams. This individual deals effectively with demanding situations and designs and implements interventions.
- Motivating: The COO manages continuity, change and transition. This individual knows how to influence, enable others, and addresses the impact of attitude and action on the group.
- The Chief Operating Officer provides direction to the Functional Leaders and ensures the effective deliveries of business activities for the group of businesses as summarized under “Responsibilities and duties”.

**Requirements**:

- A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in similar
- capacity/position. Must have at least 10 years’ experience within the fintech/web3 industry.
- Shrewd business sense in determining corporate strategic goals, systems, and controls.
- Meticulous with details and able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Able to lead, advice and manage the entire operations of the group.
- Experience in managing complex enterprise.
