**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
At gTech’s Users and Products team (gUP), our mission is to help users get the most out of Google. We represent Google's users and many of our partners globally, sharing insights with the larger Google organization to enable exceptional customer and product experiences.

gUP builds innovative solutions that take user experience and engagement with Google to the next level, supporting users across products, countries, cultures, incomes, and identities. We advocate for users through partnerships with product areas at Google (and some Alphabet businesses), supporting Google’s consumer products ecosystem and enabling numerous launches for Google’s consumer products each year.

**ADDITIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION**:
As a Product Solutions Engineer, you will balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions, and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects. Product Solutions Engineers are focused on delivering excellent customer care and make sure things go smoothly for our customers across the globe when they need us most.

**Qualifications**:
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Analyze and resolve complex technical problems and roadblocks around data and tools access. Understand operational workflows, identify and define tool needs to enable operational scaling, and drive the development and deployment of these tools with Engineering.
- Work closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to improve or develop new Google tools and products. Collaborate with Consumer and Engineering teams to write complex code, and implement tools to improve troubleshooting efficiency and the end user experience.
- Perform implementation reviews, advocate for new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
- Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration by providing the necessary documentation and technical guidance.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external partners to provide technical and business feedback as well as deliver technical solutions.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
- 3 years of experience coding with a general purpose programming language (i.e., Java, C/C++, Python).
- Experience with data analysis using SQL/MySQL, troubleshooting, working with and managing external partners or customers.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in an analytical role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.
- Experience with the Payments domain.
