**Job Description Summary**: Lean Leader is responsible to support lean transformation for the repair service center in Singapore. This role reports to the Service Center Manager.

**Essential Responsibilities**

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- As lean leader, you will lead and drive lean initiatives for the assigned repair cells or functions.
- Focus on continuous improvement for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
- Develop details for lean roadmap and enforce execution
- Implement standard work, work sequence, TAKT, SWIP
- Reduce lifting safety risk, waste motions, over/under production, lead time
- Implement error proof poka yoke to eliminate quality rework
- Lead Lean Kaizen Events as team leader
- Build lean lines to achieve Heijunka, reduce WIP
- Support and drive 3P, Kanban implementation, pull system / single piece flow, point-of-use, 5S, Andon system, materials replenishment, TPM
- Lead problem solving sessions with detail RCA, determine point of occurrence, contain and eliminate defects
- Measure and track cycle versus TAKT, SWIP, product cost, on-time delivery
- Lead Kaizen Promotion Office to support moonshine activities, drive Jidoka, separate man-machine, detect abnormalities
- Drive Level 1 / 2 / 3 daily management. Go to Genba daily
- Lead and support materials JIT replenishment system with supermarket and waterspider concept
- Coach interns / engineers / operation leaders / cell leaders on lean
- Collaborate and share best practice with global lean network

- Strong team player
- Inclusive leadership, communication & coaching skills
- Able to anticipate, identify and resolve complex business issues, working with multiple stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of Lean with hands-on evidence of continuous improvement projects done
- Six Sigma/Lean Black Belt Certification would have advantage
- Knowledge of gas turbine repair technology would have advantage
- Technical experience in Gas Turbine / Steam Turbine / Generator Services would have advantage
