**Description
**Job Summary**

The Head Baker Chef is responsible for R&D, is able to prepare, bake croissants, brioche, sourdough and decorate croissants, pastries, cake and other dough. This includes the process from planning the products, weighing and measuring ingredients making various baked items, and finally glazing or decorating them.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Prepare, bake and present French bread and pastry effectively and efficiently.
- Prepare a wide variety of products such as croissants, brioche, sourdough and other desserts
- Prepare food according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- R&D and decorate bread and pastries using different toppings or icings
- Monitor stocks for baking ingredients and make appropriate orders.
- Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance of work area.
- Ensure that procedures for suppliers; products receiving, equipment are complying to the established standards.
- Ensure high level of food hygiene and safety standards are maintained.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized at all times.
