This is a 1-year contract (Renewable) role as CAD Drafter. He/She is responsible for developing and preparing engineering designs and drawing from drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data. This role involves interacting with engineers to understand project requirements and deliver accurate draft plans.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data.
- Operate computer-assisted design and drafting workstations.
- Design and prepare plans for using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software.
- Produce draft and detailed designs and diagrams according to the given specifications
- Revise and correct any errors in the drawings or plans
- Ensure all drawings are compliant with industry standards and specifications
- Interact with engineers to understand project requirements and deliver accurate draft plans.
- Maintain updated knowledge of AutoCAD software, drafting standards, and industry trends
- Assist in the production of parts list, BOM, reports, and schedules.
- Produce and manage 2D & 3D drawings for various disciplines such as structural, P&ID (Schematic), General Arrangements and Layouts, etc.

Requirements:

- Minimum Diploma in chemical or instrumentation or any related module is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience as CAD Drafter, who has the capability to read construction documents and specifications.
- Good knowledge of engineering background.
- Proficiency in CAD software AutoCAD and Microsoft office.
- Knowledge of instrumentation (understand PID, principles, techniques and terminology of various disciplines.

Other information:

- Contract Duration: 1 year contract (May be renewable)
- Working hours: 830am - 530pm (Monday to Friday)
- Package: Basic + Completion bonus
