This position will be based in one of JLL’s managed sites.
The Facilities Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing the operations of a mega industrial site, ensuring the successful delivery of services while meeting key performance indicators (KPIs). This role requires providing guidance and leadership to the site team, as well as serving as the main point of contact and representing the client in all operational matters. The IFM Operations Director will work closely with the Account Director to ensure the site's budget is on track and operational excellence is maintained.
**Key Responsibilities**:Operations Management**:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of a mega industrial site, ensuring the smooth delivery of services in accordance with client requirements and service level agreements.
Monitor and maintain compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Develop and implement operating procedures, protocols, and best practices to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Regularly assess site operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance service delivery and KPI performance.
**Team Leadership and Development**:
Provide leadership, guidance, and performance management to the site team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work culture.
Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
Conduct regular team meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions to communicate goals, share information, and reinforce best practices.
**Client Relationship Management**:
Act as the primary point of contact for the client, understanding and aligning with their objectives, needs, and expectations.
Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the client, regularly engaging in meetings, site tours, and performance reviews.
Proactively address any client concerns or escalations, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
**Budget Monitoring and Financial Management**:
Collaborate with the Account Director to develop the annual budget for the site and track financial performance, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
Identify cost optimization opportunities and implement strategies to manage expenses effectively.
Review financial reports, analyze variances, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in facility management or related roles, preferably within large-scale industrial facilities.
Strong knowledge of industrial site operations, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Sound financial acumen to manage budgets and drive cost optimization initiatives.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using facility management software and tools.
