**About the Role**:
As SVP Client Partner APAC, you will be responsible for the strategic and day-to-day client leadership and management of our DR (Performance) campaigns, strategies and overall relationship on a regional basis.. You’ll need to understand all our discipline areas and be able to advise on initiatives ranging from building marketing campaign strategy to digital media campaigns.
We want someone who can passionately represent MFG, develop a talented team, ensure outstanding delivery to the client, and create opportunities for our relationship to blossom.
You will be working very closely with the regional and global performance leaders / clients in a fast paced, innovative and globally admired organisation.
**Some of the things we’d like you to do**:
Client Leadership
- Take direct responsibility for MFG’s strategic relationship with the client and the associated lifetime client value.
- Actively support the client's commercial objectives through their strategic marketing planning - you will be expected to contribute across all channels. Ensure that the Essence offering is appropriately positioned to best support the client's objectives.
- Put yourself in the client’s mindset: develop their business like it’s your own. Use everything in your background and within Essence to advise, action and deliver amazing results.
- Build and develop a deep understanding of the client's sector, the strategic issues, new initiatives and the client's competitive position; share this understanding with colleagues as appropriate and act as the source of marketing knowledge for the sector.
- Drive strategically driven creativity and innovation on the business at all times.
- Passionately source, build and share learnings and BIC knowledge across markets.
**Drive Business Growth**
- Identify opportunities for deepening the client relationship through innovation, the adoption of new marketing technologies and the use of a broader range of agency services. In particular, you’ll need a very solid understanding of the technologies of the modern Internet and how they can be used to guarantee marketing effectiveness.
- Use your understanding of the broader agency landscape to contribute in all agency meetings
**People Leadership**
- Mentor the B2B and B2C Client leads as well as planning & activation teams in their understanding of, and approach to, supporting the client’s strategic marketing plan, and manage the day-to-day throughput of the team
- Continually assess team capabilities and look to resolve any gaps through the personal development of existing resource or by leading recruitment efforts
- Ensure that the APAC Client Leads understand the client’s strategic goals and support them in staffing and structuring the account team appropriately.
- Support the Client team in the delivery of ongoing services where requested
- Coach the Client leads and broader team in their own development
**A bit about yourself**:
- You’re likely to have a proven track record as a global or regional Head of Client Service (Performance experience a requirement), be commercially savvy and have gained several years in a fast paced, commercial marketing environment
- Experience managing large, multimarket and future forward clients (technology, telecom clients and/or fully integrated accounts)
- Critically, you have deep experience of digital media at serious scale but also a strong understanding of non-digital channels.
- You’re armed with an active interest in how innovation and technology is driving change in digital marketing and a real desire to be a part of that innovation
