**Tasks and Responsibilities**:
This is an onsite role based in Singapore that oversees Talent Acquisition (TA) and Human Resources (HR) for the APAC Manufacturing and Operations sites. This person will be responsible for providing an amazing employee experience to the APAC Team. This person will be working with brilliant colleagues, who are as motivated and collaborative as you, to help the organization scale and achieve its mission of mastering biology to advance human health. This person will be part of a larger global HR team (based predominantly in the United States of America), and will report directly to the Senior Manager, HR Business Partner based in Pleasanton, California. The person will be handling a variety of responsibilities and implementing HR projects within this multi-country and past paced environment.

**What you will be doing**:

- You will be the primary point of contact for all employees in Singapore and Taiwan, responding to questions related to company policies and processes
- Coaching leaders and managers on a wide variety of HR related issues such as, manager excellence, HR initiatives, and feedback and coaching
- Partner internally with our HR Centers of Excellence: HR Operations, People Solutions, Payroll, Stock, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning and Development and HR Business Partners as well as with external partners and department managers
- Dedicated HR support for employee lifecycle changes: new hire onboarding, exit interviews and other employee-related matters.
- Support administrative HR tasks like employment documents, leave processing, HRIS (Workday) transaction processing in close collaboration with our people solutions and HR Operations team
- Work closely with the US HR team and other internal teams on HR projects, initiatives, local APAC legal compliance and process improvements
- Provide ongoing feedback and solutions back to the global HR team to ensure HR processes and policies are fit for purpose and support regional APAC employees to thrive
- Scheduling and hosting onsite / virtual interviews for all roles in Singapore and Taiwan in coordination with our Talent Acquisition team

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a HRBP or similar role; Supporting Manufacturing and Operations site experience preferred
- Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin
- Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday and Greenhouse
- Knowledge of labor laws in various APAC countries: Singapore and Taiwan
- Strong experience recruiting and supporting an hourly workforce
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and dig in to a variety of projects and tasks
- Initiative to operate independently and proactively as an advocate for employees
- High attention to detail, time management skills, sense of urgency and responsibility
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment
- Skilled at actively collaborating across teams throughout APAC and in the USA
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Primarily local - roughly 80% of time spent with clients at their location in Singapore (20% travel may be required)

**Preferred Skills / Experience**
- Knowledge of labor laws in APAC countries: Japan, China and Australia
- Experience with creating, administering and analyzing employee engagement surveys
- Training facilitation experience: new hire onboarding and manager training
- PHR/SPHR/SHRM certification is a plus
