Singapore ENGTEK (PTE) LTD. Full time

Handle all shipping documents to facilitate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Check and compare rates with various forwarders for best quote.
- Obtain booking confirmation, BL and other shipping documents from forwarder for each shipment.
- Check with forwarders on special shipping requirements of country before shipment and to communicate these requirements to the relevant departments.
- Handle L/C for import and export shipments.
- Hands-on knowledge on preparation of banker guarantees.
- Manage Accounts Payable transactions. Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by direct superior.

**Job Requirements**
- At least Diploma in Shipping or Accounting discipline
- At least 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in Shipping Logistics Operations.
- Excellent knowledge in different functional areas of shipping such as HS code, Import/Export procedure, Customs clearance, Incoterms, L/C etc.
- Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills.
- Result-oriented, organised, meticulous with problem solving skills.
- Ability to operate and prioritize in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Team player and able to work well with employees at all levels.
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice is an added advantage.
