This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

**_ Job Family Definition:_**

Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers’ business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers’ businesses. As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to insure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leading edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge. Actively contribute to the company’s solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects. Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers. Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels (or expense relief for internal project teams) and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Contribute to organization’s profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.

We have a rewarding opportunity for experienced AI & Data Platform Pre-sales Solution Architect who has ability to think strategically about business, create technical definitions around customer objectives in complex situations, develop solution strategies that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of our services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Pre-sales consultancy, presentation, demo, proof of concept, solution and proposal development for AI & Data Platform solutions.
- Applies knowledge to translate the functional view into a technical view and architect complex cloud solutions and deliver joint business success
- Partners with the sales / account team to build the customer relationship at all levels by advocating and presenting technical strategies for customer's AI & data platform transformation.
- Reviews account pipeline to prioritize pursuit / pre-sales activities, and moves opportunities to close, ensuring proper utilization of time and resources.
- Design and size AI & Data Platform solutions on HPE infrastructure / Private Cloud with our ecosystem partners
- Propose AI based Transformation approach to customers. Design AI solutions and work with internal teams to execute POC/POV for customers
- Understanding of MLOPs and AI project execution
- Responsible for creation and delivery of technology solutions and proposals designed to meet customers’ business needs
- Prepare statement of work and solution financials for bid governance review and approval
- As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Actively contribute to the AI & Data Platform solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant discipline
- At least 6 years of experience in technology industry with focus on technical consulting and solution selling

Knowledge and Skills:

- Demonstrates expert consultative selling techniques, including active listening, framing, white boarding, storytelling.
- Experience in solution architecture design, solution configurations and the creation of PoCs to meet customer requirements.
- Excellent technical understanding of AI & Data Platform solutions and knowledge of leading edge and emerging technologies
- Deep understanding of AI/ML, Big Data analytics, Data lake, Data warehouse and Data Mesh
- Experience with Big Data tools and ecosystems (Hadoop, HIVE, HBase, Karfka, Spark,), data warehousing, relational SQL and NoSQL DB
- Functional proficiency with software defined storage solutions
