Our client is a Singaporean company who specialised in providing engineering solutions to its client within the heavy industry. The company has been growing over the years and is in an expansion phase. They are currently hiring experts to be based on site in Papua New Guinea to service their key clients.

**Your new role**

The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of mining equipment on site, ensuring that it is functioning optimally and safely. You are also responsible for managing a team of service technicians, scheduling maintenance and repairs, and ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget. Additionally, you may be responsible for ordering parts and supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Degree in the related field with substantial years of experience as a Service Manager in the mining/construction machinery industry and have strong knowledge of the functions of heavy machinery
- Strong leadership experience and management skills
- Willing to work in Papua New Guinea (based at a mining site)
- Fluent in English (Mandarin is an added advantage)
