**Sound Engineer at Contemporary Melting-Pot & Bar (Dempsey)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and test sound equipment before events.
- Control volume, balance, and EQ of a live performance from a mixing console.
- Understand the company’s artistic vision and contribute his/her own creative ideas.
- Conduct sound checks for front of house (audio for the audience) and the stage monitor or foldback system (audio for the performers), before the performance in live sound.
- Live band performances mainly from Mon-Sat Evenings (Average 30 Man Hours per week)
- Safely setting up, repairing, servicing, and replacing equipment when required.

**Requirements**:

- Associate's degree or other relevant certification recommended.
- Familiarity with audio mixing consoles, microphones, and equalizers.
- A good ear and creative spirit.
- Ability to follow instructions and remain professional under pressure.
- Sound troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
