**Responsibilities**:

- Partner with business stakeholders to gather and understand their data visualization and reporting requirements.
- Design and develop robust and scalable data models in Power BI to support complex business needs.
- Write efficient DAX queries to manipulate and transform data for analysis.
- Develop and implement data pipelines to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources for reporting purposes.
- Build and maintain highly interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Service.
- Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and address data quality issues.
- Maintaining weekly/monthly data extraction for business users.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Power BI and data engineering.
- Document data models, reports, and development processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Create functional & technical documentation related to Business Intelligence deliverables.
- Applies principles, concepts and techniques of skills in developing best practice solutions and strategies.
- Ensures that the visualization architecture is well planned and in agreement with standards of data governance & security guidelines.
- May provide training and support to end-users on using Power BI dashboards and reports.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline
- Knowledge of insurance or financial services is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with a strong understanding of data modelling concepts, DAX queries and utilizing other Power BI functionalities.
- Familiarity with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes and tools like SQL, Python etc.
- Familiarity with Azure services like Databricks, Microsoft fabric etc.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
