Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting a Senior Operations Engineer to join our Operational Management Solutions (OMS) team based in Singapore.

In this role will provide support and technical input to the Operations Readiness & Assurance (ORA) team for a new major project in the Detailed Design phase. A critical element of this role is effective engagement with the Client ORA team and the engineering team assigned to the project

Accountabilities of the role:

- Operations Readiness Management
- Facilitate workshops (e.g. HAZOP, CHAZOP, SIL, LOPA, FGS, ALARP, SIMOPS, HRA, ENVID, Model and Layout reviews, OMAR reviews)
- Undertake studies (e.g. Manual handling, Chemical handling, HFE)
- Identify training requirements and include:

- HMI and OTS development
- spare part management
- RAM modelling
- Operating performance standards and Operating manuals / procedure development
- Commissioning activities (systemisation, procedures)
- Safety case input

Skills / Qualifications:

- Extensive offshore/upstream oil & gas engineering and project experience
- Knowledge and familiarity with Operations Readiness and Assurance process
- Demonstrated recent relevant experience in providing Operations input during a Detailed Design and Engineering project phases
- Previous involvement with NNM engineering concept and knowledge of (Western) Australian Oil & Gas related regulations will be beneficial.
