Job Title: Senior Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Engineer to lead and manage multiple projects, engineering, and installations to achieve our annual financial and non-financial goals.

Job Description:

The Senior Operations Engineer will be responsible for planning, directing, leading, and managing multiple projects to achieve annual financial and non-financial goals. This includes experience with Industrial Automation and Building Management Control Systems (PLC/DDC), as well as strong leadership and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, lead, and manage multiple projects to achieve annual financial and non-financial goals.
  • Experience with Industrial Automation and Building Management Control Systems (PLC/DDC).
  • Assist in designing and developing software solutions for Building Management System (BMS) and preparing P&ID diagrams related to the chiller system and its BMS.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to gather requirements and specifications of BMS.
  • Develop and maintain manuals of the developed BMS system.
  • Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor or the head of department.
  • He/she is accountable for the overall project, engineering, and installation operations and the optimum utilization of resources to meet all goals set.
  • Develops, monitors, and controls divisional annual operating budget.
  • Establishes and tracks key performance indicators.
  • Manages the development and leadership of Project, Engineering, and Installation Professionals.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures together with other departments in achieving its objectives.
  • Evaluates performance of the department and implements corrective actions to improve the results secured.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in management of services operations and/or engineering projects in the building environment sector.
  • Good to have Class 3 License and experience in driving for visiting on-site projects and coordination.
  • Must be able to work on Saturday/Sunday and Public Holidays if necessary.
  • Ability to travel at short notice and manage a 24/7 on-call lifestyle.
  • Experience in managing a large engineering division.
  • Recognized Degree in Electronic & Electrical / Computer Science or any other relevant Engineering discipline from a reputable local or foreign university.
  • Strong leadership with excellent analytical skills, interpersonal savvy, resourcefulness, time management abilities, customer focus, organizing capabilities, planning expertise, motivation skills, drive for results, and proficiency in building effective teams.
