HR & Finance Associate

**Job description**
RSG is looking for a HR & Finance Associate who supports the full spectrum of HR and Finance, as well as support the building of sustainable HR & Finance practices for the anticipated expansion of our company.
This role is ideal for individuals who are constantly looking for ways to improve existing processes and increase their knowledge as you will be exposed to and are expected to develop knowledge and understanding in key areas of administration and finance.
You are expected to carry out a proactive role, acting in the best interest of the Company, maintaining professional standards, and employing best practices.
- Key Responsibilities:_
**Finance**
- Ensure accuracy of vendors’ and suppliers’ invoices
- Ensure accuracy of outgoing payments
- Inputting transaction (payments) for accountant checking.
- Payment Processing and arrangement.
- Update account payable book and list of cash out
- Support other departments in terms of cost/ expenses/ budget
- Budget tracking
- Assist in the preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as required
**HR**
- Manage overall office management such as maintaining furnishing, equipment, supplies, infrastructure and providing general office support
- Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Maintain digital and electronic records of employees
- Oversee the completion of compensation and benefit documentation
- Serve as point of contact with benefit vendors and administrators
- Communite with public services when necessary
- Perform orientations and update records of new staff
- Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonuses, leaves, etc)
- Process payroll and resolve any payroll errors
- Assist with performance management procedures
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices
- Research and implement new or revamp exisiting policies and procedures.
- Providing other administrative support as needed
- Requirements_
- English and Chinese speaking as you will be liaising with foreign counterparts
- Basic knowledge of labor laws
- Willingness to learn about labor laws of other countries
- Effective administration and people management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Work well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to accurately follow instructions.
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently
- Meticulous and great attention to detail
- IT savvy, basic accounting knowledge is required
- Familiar with Google apps, and Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Ability to start work immediately or within short notice will be an added advantage
