Job Responsibilities- Work synergistically with PI and Co-PIs in experimental designs, conducting experiments perform data analysis and troubleshooting- Provide expertise on resource recovery from waste residues, metals recycling and extraction through molten salt electrolysis and other methods, phosphorus extraction and recovery from ashes- Design the sampling protocols and analytical methods applicable for different types of waste residues and the recovered resources such as phosphorus and metals- Provide training to research associate/assistant/student on the relevant skills for the proposed project- Summarise the findings in this project and produce the final report and recommendations for the sustainable treatment of sludge and resource recovery
Job Requirements- PhD in Environmental Engineering; Chemistry; Chemical Engineering or a relevant field- Hands-on experience with metals recovery, wastes treatment and analytical testing- Extensive knowledge in resource recovery, electrolysis, extraction, and purification techniques- High motivation and strong responsibility for research and development- Good written and oral skills in English for effective communication/collaboration with international workgroup- Experience in carrying out independent research- Good interpersonal skills, good team player with excellent teamwork awareness- Productive, hard-working and dedicate to the completion of any task assigned- Good publication record is advantageous
