**The Job**

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the creation and execution of a world-class program focused on supporting startups as they accelerate in partnership with a top corporate.

Rainmaking is hiring a Marketing & Events Specialist to support the execution of this program. As the Marketing & Events Specialist you will be in charge of the face of the program including the smooth running of all engagement activities with startups. You'll ensure the reach is far and wide so the most impactful startups are aware and excited about what the program entails.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in the startup ecosystem, with a baseline knowledge of how startups work and what Founders may be looking for on their journey
- Experience across a broad range of marketing activities, with the ability to find new ways of reaching key target groups with engaging content and messaging
- An interest, and ideally exposure to, running events and coordinating a range of both virtual and in-person activities. If these have been focused on startups / founders previously this would be highly advantageous
- A strong project management toolkit, where you can lead successful projects from start to finish
- A curious mindset with the ability to create content and activities from scratch and develop new ways of working for impact
- You communicate new ideas and insights clearly and with strong narratives
- You are detail-oriented, adaptable and a multitasker with a genuine desire and ability to learn quickly
