**ABOUT THE ROLE**

You own the design & performance of physical movements of customer and corporate cash, as well as all the documentation and forms with PSPs and Banks partners. You work closely with Product, Finance, Compliance, Network teams, as well as external partners to achieve your goals.
- Ensure client settlements work correctly throughout our payment infrastructure
- Ensure cash settlements are processed & funds are safeguarded
- Process cash settlements manually when not automated, and work closely with Product to automate settlements
- Design the processes & policies to enter ledger entries, check & approve all manual ledger entries done in the system
- Manage & top-up prefunds
- Manage balances of Aspire collection & payout accounts
- Manage treasury risk for client funds
- Design and maintain safeguarding policies and processes
- Monitor and test the effectivity and resilience of risk management rules, processes, policies, programs, and continuously improve them
- Build and manage operations and risk management programs to mitigate treasury and safeguarding risks
- Represent Operations within the Treasury Risk Committee
- Design & launch new payment infrastructure
- Design payment flows for existing and new products, and implement them together with Product & other teams involved
- Drive improvements in payment infrastructure performance
- Manage finance operations of Aspire’s investments, and of investment products for clients that Aspire plans to launch next year
- Manage Partners onboarding due diligence
- Coordinate due diligence of Aspire with Financial Institution partners, and coordinate due diligence of Financial Institution partners with Aspire
- Lead a team of 8+ people and growing; Develop & coach the team
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders - Treasury, Financial Controlling, Product, Product Operations, Compliance - to rally everyone around creating strong and effective practices to manage client funds, to resolve issues, to design client Aspire’s product and tech

**YOUR PROFILE**

- 10+ years experience in client payments / treasury / settlements; experience in a startup environment
- **You can build and execute on a vision**:

- You come up with a vision & strategy for your team, build and action plan based on this and execute it, effectively & without supervision, rallying other leaders to your cause
- **You make operations run like clockwork**:

- Highly analytical and structured, can communicate effectively to people of all levels
- **You have strong communication & project management skills**:

- You are used to communicating with senior executives, as well as with on-the-ground officers. Your communication is clear and concise. You know how to project manage large projects with a lot of dependencies
- **You are customer-obsessed**:

- Putting yourself in the shoes of the customer comes naturally to you. The customer comes first.
