**A day in the life of a Mechanical Technician...**
- Provide maintenance service of all buildings, equipment and facilities in the center.
- Assist senior technician to modify equipment and facilities, fabricate prototype equipment in order to support process and product development projects.
- Supervise routine facilities maintenance outsourced to contractors.
- Perform maintenance/record activities of equipment, buildings and facilities in the center, make sure all the equipment/facilities in good working condition
- Perform operations/record of industrial service equipment and stand alone equipment in center, make sure industrial service equipment and facilities in good working condition
- Assist Senior Mechanical Technician in installation of new equipment, piping system, relocation and dismantling of existing equipment.
- Maintain and repair air-conditioners, cold room, air handling unit system (AHU) and building facilities
- Assist Senior Mechanical Technician to maintain process equipment
- Compliance with NQMS, FSMS, NEMS, NSAT/NCE, SOPs, and operational safety and health rules are implemented and strictly applied

**What will make you successful**
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the food industrial sector or a similar field
- Practical experience within their areas of specialization e.g. factory/hotel experience, being part of maintenance teams
- Refrigeration experience is preferred
- Up to date knowledge of quality, safety and hygiene and environment requirements
- NCE trained
