**Job Summary**

Under the direction of the Technical Director, the Head of Coach Education and Development is tasked with leading and advancing the FAS Coach Education syllabus.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- **FAS Coach Education and Development**:

- **Coaching Courses**:Lead and assist in coaching courses up to and including the AFC A Diploma level, ensuring compliance with internal and external stakeholder requirements (e.g. Sport Singapore, Asian Football Confederation).
- **Assessments**:Conduct and evaluate theoretical and practical coaching course assessments.
- **Instructor Collaboration and Mentoring**:Conduct regular meetings with developers to discuss content and progress and provide guidance to Coach Developers and trainee coaches.
- **Further Education**:Organize workshops to facilitate continuous learning among coaches.
- **External Stakeholder Engagement**:Collaborate with external parties (e.g. schools, clubs, accredited academies) to disseminate the National Football Curriculum.
- **General Administration**:Execute administrative tasks (e.g. reports, meeting minutes) to ensure efficient operation of the Technical Division.
- **Course Development**:Review and update content for various coaching courses, adapting them to new AFC and international standards.
- **Course Organisation**:Manage logistics, including instructor allocation, venue selection, and scheduling.
- **Budget Management**:Oversee department budget, equipment, instructor, and executive expenses.
- **Course Refreshing and Updating**:Plan and prepare refresher and update courses for coaches and instructors.
- **Practical Work Supervision**:Monitor coaches' practical work with teams for AFC accreditation.

2. **General Responsibilities**:

- **Collaboration**:Lead joint efforts with national coaching agencies (e.g., CoachSG).
- **Progress Tracking**:Conduct weekly meetings with coaches to assess and advance the program.
- **Inter-Club Activities**:Organize collaborative events with various clubs and academies.
- **International Relations**:Maintain relationships with global football organisations (FIFA, AFC, UEFA).

3. **Integration in the Technical Department**:

- Collaborate closely with other Technical Department projects, including Grassroots, SYL, National Teams, Women’s Football, and Futsal.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Technical Director and/or General Secretary.

**Requirements**:

- Possession of a FAS/AFC ‘A’ Diploma or equivalent, with a proven track record in coaching.
- Experience in delivering coaching courses up to and including the AFC A Diploma level.
- Skilled in coaching methodologies and feedback delivery.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Experience in public speaking and large audience engagement.
- Proficient in presentation tools and IT.
- Exemplary role model for coaches and players.
- Deep passion for and belief in the transformative power of coaching.
