Project Accountant

Rosponsibilities:

- Maintains and updates project data throughout the project life cycle
- Oversees project insurance and contracts to ensure terms are adhered to
- Involves in reviewing pre-contract risk assessment and monthly project risk report
- Prepares project related accounting entries sush as costs accruals, costs and revenue recognition
- Monitors and track project costs both actual and committed such as materials, subcontract, labour and other direct costs
- Prepares monthly report such as WIP, Progress Billings and Cost accruals
- Works closely with Project team and various internal stakeholders to review and discuss project related matters and ensure revenue recognition in accordance to contract
- other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in project accounting for construction contract
- Experience in operational know how of finance processes would be an advantage
- Good analytical skills and able to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and have hands on experience in ERP software
