**Job DescriptionCDD & KYC Tasks**: Job Description
- Act as primary contact for Know Your Client (KYC) related inquiries from internal staff members and clients
- Manage the inflow of requests and prioritize Customer Due Diligence (CDD) new client onboarding
- Ensure timely completion of all client on-boarding requests from the Engagement Manager
- Ensure all documents are completed and in line with the internal Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and CDD Policies and Procedures
- Ensure adherence to standards, procedures and also identify risk mitigates, and is fully aware of ethics requirements
- Obtain ACRA biz-file, identification of shareholder, group structure, and organization chart of potential client
- Request and monitor CDD declaration from potential clients to obtain the information of Connected Parties and Beneficial Owners
- Assess client’s group structure and organization chart and check for completeness and accuracy of information declared in the CDD forms
- Input all data points into SentroWeb and perform screenings via SentroWeb and a general search on the potential clients (including Connected Parties and Beneficial Owners) for potential risks of money laundering and terrorism financing, to ensure no adverse news, sanctions, PEP/SIP/SIE matches
- Perform further clarification when there is any perfect match for Connected Parties and Beneficial Owners as PEP/SIP/SIE, etc
- Report CDD search results to Engagement Manager & Partner, including requesting signatories
- Perform Enhanced CDD as instructed and under the supervision of the Engagement Manager & Partner
- Maintain evidence of CDD risk assessment and approval in the Caseware portal
- Remain updated with regulation and industry knowledge, with support from the Technical departmentAdministrative Tasks: Job Description
- Monitor and ensure all client acceptance/continuance forms are duly signed by the Engagement Manager & Partner in the Caseware portal. Ensure all approved client onboarding process documents and acceptance/continuance forms are duly uploaded to the Caseware portalRequirements: - At least 1 year of operational experience in a similar role on client onboarding or KYC- Some working knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in respect of AML/CTF and Sanctions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record of working closely with key clients, client-facing and back-office teams
- Chinese language proficiency would be a plus
