**BI Developer**

Job Title: BI Developer

Work Location: West Area, Singapore

**About the Job**

The BI Developer within the IT department will be instrumental in bringing data to life by building reports and elegant dashboards with PowerBI. He/She will integrate data from multiple sources (Cloud and On-Premise) into BI Tools and Reporting Platforms.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
1. Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.

2. Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics.

3. Analyse data and present data through reports that aid decision-making. Creates and optimizes data model for different layers of Datawarehouse, including ODS, Datawarehouse, Data mart under guidance of Tech lead.

4. Ensures a smooth transfer from development to production phase in respect of methodology; provides technical and procedural documentation, test cases and protocols, training material, installation procedures, security concept and role assignment of customers.

5. Performs all other tasks delegated by the Manager to optimize efficiency of the entire IT Department in the area of data products according to management requirements. Organizes internal workshops with the Tech lead to assure overall integrity of data products.

**Job Requirements**:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Systems

2. Power BI professional certification

3. At least 5 years in Business Intelligence system - Reporting, SQL, ETL

4. Solid experience in building reports & dashboards with PowerBI

5. Working experience in RLS, Dataflows, Gateway, DAX Studio, Tabular Editor and security model

6. Working experience in SSRS and Power BI Paginated Reports

7. Proficiency in SQL is mandatory

8. Working experience in SSAS tabular model

9. Working experience in ETL tools (Talend, Informatica or SSIS) is good to have

10. Analysing Performance & optimizing dataset refresh, sharing and collaborating in Power BI Service

11. Troubleshooting refresh failures in Power BI Desktop & Service

12. Analyzing performance issues of reports in Power BI Service

13. Knowledge of business processes - CRM, Marketing, Campus Solution - is a plus

15. Good verbal and written communication skills

16. Drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
