Performance Management
Monitor, manage and report on corporate broker activity by pre-bind metric and market share penetration in each country and territory.
Maintain and update the current New Business pipelines and status in each country and territory.
Collate and prepare financial reports including market activity, sales, profitability and key activity within the region. Identify trends, make observations and recommend next steps.
Propose and design new or reengineered business intelligence sources and outputs to optimise management decision.
Communicate, implement and track rate change, performance, including broker facilities in conjunction with the regional actuarial team.
Engagement
Ensure high levels of market visibility across the region by supporting and/or leading seminars, workshops and other outreach initiatives.
Actively engage with brokers and agents on transactions and opportunities which are of material value or importance to the region.
Coordinate countries to prepare periodical reports for Chubb management and separately provide reports to partner brokers on facility performance.
Improvement initiatives
Identify, analyse & manage regional initiatives to improve Basic Book business financial performance and optimise COR ratio.
Participate in the ideation and of strategic and technical projects.
Support for the evaluation of business opportunities through research and the compilation of financial projections.
Support the development of new products, processes and systems as required.
Experience
**5 years of experience in insurance business line - eg**: Accident and Health and strong interest in this type of business
Working commercial knowledge of A&H products.
Highly Proficient with MS Excel, MS Access, Cognos, Qlikview, PowerBI, Powerpoint is preferred.
Experience managing insurance brokers and/or agents to meet growth and profit targets
Underwriting experience is an advantage
Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
Experience in product planning, development and launch
Knowledge of existing products and competitor products
Attention to detail, Good analytical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills
**Qualifications**:
Degree in Finance/Economics/Business Administration/Statistics/Actuarial
