WMI is appointed as Singapore’s Lead Training Provider for Private Banking by the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore (IBF) and supported by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). WMI also helms the Global-Asia Family Office Circle, a network platform that fosters a trusted environment to build capabilities and community in the family office sector.
WMI provides a comprehensive suite of practice-based certification and diploma programmes, and collaborates with leading universities for Masters qualifications. With over 18,000 annual enrolments, WMI provides training in asset management, wealth management, family office, compliance and risk management across more than 100 programmes.
**Job Description**:
**Key Responsibilities**
Reporting into Executive Director, Client Solutions, the incumbent is responsible for:
**1. **Business Development and Client Solutioning**
- Work closely with the Director to develop B2B client centric solutions for talent development
- Assist the Director to organise and prepare and present pitch decks for B2B clients
- Maintain close relationships and engagement with B2B clients to deeply understand their training needs and be able to propose solutions to meet those needs
- Work closely with the Director on programme outreach activities and engagement
- Lead the programme delivery managers to ensure all B2C leads and enquiries are responded to in a timely manner
- Coach and drive the team for success in lead conversions
**2. **Programme Development and Delivery**
- Work in close partnership with IBF and other industry partners to identify key competencies for the Wealth Management segment and ensure that these remain relevant over time
- Identify and develop solutions to meet training needs for the Wealth Management segment, including customizing training programmes for leading anchor clients from the financial sector
- Lead and supervise a team of programme delivery managers and ensure top notch quality programme experience (in-person, virtual, hybrid modes)
- Manage the team’s programme calendar and provide the Director with timely updates on programme delivery plans
- Work with the team to ensure good execution of these plans, including working with faculty on availability, ensuring learning technology platforms are enabled and prepped for virtual, in-person and hybrid training
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of post programme evaluation reports to the HOD and CEO
- Ensure participants are provided with all required information prior to, during and after the programme including but not limited to funding and certification eligibility, pre-admission/attendance/assessment criteria, pre course work and readings
- Responsible for smooth programme delivery operations as well as accurate reporting including but not limited to checking of IBF claims submissions
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Education Qualifications**: Tertiary degree in any discipline
**Experience**: At least 10 years of relevant experience in the wealth management, learning & development, training, supervision and running of programmes or business development. Experience in client facing/relationship management role in a financial institution will be considered an advantage.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to oversee, plan, organize and lead programmes and projects independently.
- Proficient with digital platforms and able to handle technology with ease
- Track record in business development, outreach or sales
- ACTA or equivalent qualification (to ensure alignment of teaching and assessment methods to learning outcomes) will be an advantage
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
- Meticulous, strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
