Patient Care Associates (PCAs) work alongside other healthcare professionals, typically nurses, to assist them with any additional duties where they need a helping hand. They can also support doctors, midwives and a broad spectrum of other healthcare professionals. They can also provide technical support in OTs

**Key accountabilities**:

- Observing, monitoring and recording patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight and general nursing duties.
- Communicating with patients, relatives and carers
- Assisting with clinical duties
- Personal care including infection prevention and control, food, personal hygiene and overall reassurance, comfort and safety
- Promoting positive mental/physical/nutritional health with patients
- Checking and ordering supplies

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- On-the-job training will be provided to interested applicants without relevant experience
- Have the passion and heart for patient service and care
- Able to communicate in English
- Able to commit to rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
