**Responsibilities**:

- Databases objects designed by both in-house developers and out-sourced developers are to be reviewed.
- The databases performances are to be monitored using available tools and suggestions for optimal usage of the resources (CPU / Storage) are to be made.
- Data replication between databases is to be monitored and appropriate actions are to be taken in case of any issues.
- In case of errors pertaining to the database product itself are encountered, appropriate support request is to be raised with database vendor and followed-up for rectification of the issue.
- Creation of new databases / cloning of existing databases when needed.

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science / Information Technology related degree
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experiences
- knowledge of database concepts, SQL, PL/SQL.
- Proficient in administration of Oracle database 19c.
- Proficient in managing and using Oracle Goldengate replication product.
- Proficient in using source code repositories like GIT.
- Proficient in using project management platform like JIRA.
- Experience in managing and using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - specifically Oracle Autonomous databases will be added advantage.
- Knowledge of the other databases like PostgreSQL will be added advantage.
- Provide support for the 24/7 system (Standby if system down)
